Based too heavily on forecheck and pinching "D", the number of odd-man rushes has to be trimmed down considerably. They play more of a 2-2-1 than I'd like to see.

When you're 3rd last in goal differential or your team is offensively challenged, you've gotta play more conservatively.

But we do need to play better in our own end. Watching them scramble to get back and then scramble to block shots last year was painful. Hopefully the revamped D corps can do a better job of helping our goaltenders out.

I don't know if it's the land of it but they sure have perfected it.

It could very well have been an old injury, and she saw the chance to get her treatment, time off work and pain and suffering paid for, but when there's evidence of a legitimate injury, it will be tough for his lawyers to prove it was pre-existing.

But, in a case where a payoff is the likely result, this doesn't help Kane.
He's probably better off paying her bills, and walking away. But of course the stigma attached to a payout is always bad from a PR standpoint.

It's still probably better for him than dragging out a trial process for a year or 2 and dealing with the media fallout for the entire time. Especially as a pending free-agent.

That sounds good. For the average Joe, it's good advice.

But, when you're dealing in multi-million dollar/year deals, and the spotlight is always bright, sometimes it's better to take the hundred-thousand dollar hit.

Either way, the kid has made this a lot tougher than it should be. He was gifted a skill-set 99% of the population would kill for, and he's painted himself into a corner because he just had to be a douche once he got a few drinks into him.

If it's a new franchise that get to chose in the same fashion as Los Vegas, I'll go with 2 or 3 to give the players time to gel with each other.
