I'm sorry, what was wrong with posting this? I thought and still think it was a pretty good of a misconception of a player. Giroux has been called one of the better two way players in the league around here. He isn't, otherwise with his offense he would be a selke nominated guarantee every season. Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Kessler, Toews and Kopitar are solid two way players from this generation.
- roenick97

The misconception is yours. Giroux has already gotten a similar amount of Selke votes as Roenick received during his entire career.

Giroux made a marked effort to play a better two way game, and improved a lot. I think he sacrificed a good amount of personal achievement for the good of the team. I think Giroux is solid and reliable defensively, but not at the level of the top 2 way centers in the league such as Bergeron and Kopitar. I think with the signing of Gordon, the Flyers can get Giroux ice time in better situations, so he can get back to being used how he should be.

Thanks!

I originally started playing in my teens with various metal garage bands, but I pretty much stopped playing in my mid 20s when I got to busy with my job and community involvement. About 5 years ago, I bought a new acoustic and started playing and writing songs again and things just took off from there. Hopefully, I will be going part time in my day job in a few years and at that point I'll be spending much more time working on a music career in Key West.

That is great. Have you ever been to Martin Guitar up in Nazareth?

He has dominated in years past...to the point where someone even called him the best player in the world It certainly felt like it then. There is no doubt he has the ability

roenick97, you're an alt for SSB, right? I'm getting vibes and the timelines match

On an entirely unrelated note, what do you guys think about trading Gudas to Arizona for LSchenn?

Flyers get some more cap space, and the better, faster RHD as well.

Sometimes I feel that way, but sometimes I feel like it was even better that he was only here a year. Helps us appreciate it more. That 24/7 series...man, I could watch that every year

No, but hopefully soon. A good friend of mine's daughter is marrying one of Martin's senior people. I may be able to get a killer discount when I go up!

Would love to see AMac in LHV, because that would all but guarantee that Provorov made the big squad!

You know what I think is funny. That you and others believe that voting is this openly spoken about thing. This is something you have to really go looking for. How many nominations does G get? As I stated, Giroux isn't Danny Briere, which is saying a lot in itself. I've seen Giroux blow a lot of coverage, maybe not so much this season but in seasons past.

Year after year, 3 nominations are handed out. I don't know if you knew this.

I was waiting all night for you to bring up Ghost's corsi numbers. Not just some sad list of ice time averages.

You are the corsi guy, right?

No thanks. Gudas has just about perfected his hip check timing so let's keep him.

both of them scored a pretty ridiculous goal this year. Luke had that one down low along the boards and Gudas had the clapper from all the way back in Conshohocken
