If Vesey signs here, Girgensons is probably gone, if not him then Ennis. Ennis can play center so maybe Ennis slides into the center spot.
Kane ROR Okposo
Vesey Eichel Reinhart
Foligno Ennis Bailey
Moulson Larsson Gionta
I could live with that - Stripes77
I don't love Ennis the Center. I'd rather see Larsson play 3C and COR play 4th. Bailey would be first man up when an inury occurs. |

Kane doesn't get Vancouver's first...
Not to mention that is probably going to be a top 5 pick.
Even a top 5 pick plus isn't going to get you Drouin, not to mention that Tampa can't take back salary. - Stripes77
You think they would do Kane + 1st for their 1st? I think I'd sign up for that if Vesey signs. |

Vancouver is not "rebuilding" so they think they will be in playoffs (I think its a top 10 pick, but what do I know). I would imagine lottery protection on the trade too.
I think it's Girgensons, Foligno, Fashing/Bailey and our first rounder for Drouin and maybe a cap dump player.
I don't love trading Fashing / Bailey but sometimes you might have to (if you want what is on the other side). |

Drouin probably stays there long term after the playoffs he just had. I wouldn't rule anything out regarding the canucks but i think the sabres keep Kane at least for this year. |

TB has Kucherov to sign this year. Drouin, Palat, Tyler Johnson, Sustr (d man) as RFA next year with only golaie Bishop coming off books (if they dont resign, but they already gave backup a 3.5 mil deal, that kicks in next year too).
Get at them while you can. You know Drouin will want to get paid or he will hold out again. Similar to O'Reilly case, I think. |

My guess is they let those two go along with Bishop |

I think Kane stays for the year too, but would like to move him if Vesey comes on board.
Who knows about Drouin, could go either way. I think he wants to get paid and not sure TB will give him fair value. During his rant last year, he was right, he should have been playing (he should not have done that, but he was right about playing). |

I may be in the minority here, but I think Fowler is overrated. He's a smooth skating dman who has a good first pass but doesn't accumaulate many points and hits no one. didn't we just trade away an identical dman. I would trade what I had to (within reason) for Shattenkirk. I know's he's a RHD but he's that good. |

That is a good bet. Just looking at what they have to sign. Making a case as to why they should trade Drouin to us, haha |

Agreed on all of that but if the price is just girgensons id do it. Although I think you'd have to ship out Franson and someone else to make room . |

The unfortunate part, is out of all the D men we have brought in or thinking about trading for, the guy we moved is the best of the bunch |

I must be missing something, are we saying Mark Pysyk=Fowler?
Edit: Nelson and Guhle are fast skating, good first pass d-men. Maybe not Nelson, but Guhle projects to be better than Mark Pysyk IMO. |

Yep Guhle is a faster skater and projects to get a lot more points than Pysyk |

Another injury for Bills: CB Corey White leaving the field with trainers, who are carrying his helmet. |

Who's to say if he really gets it though, it all depends on what they do if they get Vesey. I was told they seem pretty confident he will sign here but Murray isn't waiting around for him. I told my uncle , it sure seems like Murray is waiting, why isn't Risto signed yet that's more important. |
