Why's that, worse contracts have been given out and he's still young. Last year was an off year. The market is dictating these bad contracts.

Vancouver is not "rebuilding" so they think they will be in playoffs (I think its a top 10 pick, but what do I know). I would imagine lottery protection on the trade too.

I think it's Girgensons, Foligno, Fashing/Bailey and our first rounder for Drouin and maybe a cap dump player.

I don't love trading Fashing / Bailey but sometimes you might have to (if you want what is on the other side).

But that time is long gone
And from what was reported, th big reason it didn't happen was bc Tampa wanted top flight talent in return (like Reinhart) and not merely "good" pieces like you're offering
There's just no way we are getting Drouin

At the 51:30 minute mark, Jack goes around a guy (#5) and it looks like he goes after Jacks Knee. The first guy in to confront the guy is Vesey, followed by #12 who checks another guy then goes and has something to say to (#5) on the opposing bench. Interesting.

I wouldn't make too much of it. It's a team thing. I played roller hockey with a guy I had never met before the game, and someone took a cheap shot at me and the guy I never met was the first one in.
