Barkov is not the best center in the league, however he is one of the brightest young stars in league. McDavid is the only 20 or under player I would take over Barkov.

Listen idiot I've tried to be nice but now I'm not. If you look at the play you will see that everyone thought Luongo had the puck covered and we're getting ready for a whistle except the refs and Tavares saw the puck was free and Tavares scored. All the fault goes to the Panthers players on the ice for not seeing that the puck got by Lu and Luongo also gets the blame.

This is by far the funniest blog I have ever read on Hockeybuzz.

A player's point totals and and where they are selected in the draft might be what fanboys use to gather opinions, but I think to the rest of us, think a player has to win something before we elevate them into such an elite status.

Barkov's analytics were excelent last season, and I was always a true believer writng thus when other refuse to consider his (like Corey Prohman) draft year as one that had a big Four and not a big Three that excluded him:

It's no need to make sensationalistic articles to get attention, I hate that. Let the players actions speak for them, that's the best way to get attention.
You're just making us a target, and no one is a target, no one certainly should do it to themselves.
