You can't fault Barkov on that. All of the Panthers players on the ice and the referees deserve the blame. Plus the Panthers had playoff inexperience while the Islanders had been in the postseason the past few years. The Cats are Coming with Barkov leading them.

If you look at the play you will see that everyone thought Luongo had the puck covered and we're getting ready for a whistle except the refs and Tavares saw the puck was free and Tavares scored. All the fault goes to the Panthers players on the ice for not seeing that the puck got by Lu and Luongo also gets the blame.
