The Habs could really become a legitimate cup contender if they could get Weber and Shat to anchor their top 2 pairs.....providing Price can come back healthy. |

We'd be good defensively... but still will depend on if the new players (Radulov and Shaw particularly) can find the net enough. |

I don't see why the Habs would get Shattenkrik. They already have Weber, Petry, Pateryn and Redmond as RH defensemen. Which of Weber, Petry and Shattenkirk would play on the 3rd pair? That doesn't make sense. And I'm not even counting Emelin who is a LH defenseman who is actually better when he plays on the right. Unless they want to put a RHD on the left, which I think would be a terrible idea... even though Petry, with his skating abilities, would be the perfect partner for Weber if he was LH. |
