Very true. But it says a lot about the depth of your organization that a guy like cracknell is earning a spot out of training camp and more effective than something else you already have.

I mean, cracknell couldn't crack the Flames, Blues, Kings, or Blue Jackets rosters.
Did he improve that much or did he find a roster that didn't provide much competition when signing with the canucks?

It certainly does say a lot about the depth of the team but he also got snapped up again fairly quickly in FA this year. I would of loved for Vey or Gaunce be the better player last year but they just were not.
