I like J-Pat but his totals don't account for many things like you pointed out Carol.
Injuries is one thing but I think people forget that if Sutter is back and should score around 20, it also means that he is taking ice time away from Horvat.
The Eriksson signing will take ice time, especially with the sedins, away from Hansen.
With the current roster my hope would be something along the lines of....
Daniel 25
Eriksson 25
Sutter 20
Baertschi 18
Horvat 15
Hansen 15
Henrik 15
Rodin 10
Burrows 10
Virtanen 10 - belcherbd
Fairly accurate imo, I think if Loui stays healthy he can hit 30 again or more but I really doubt Sutter can score . I think that was a terrible trade and a huge overpayment on his contract. He is not a top six ever in the NHL. |

Top 5 pick again? - A_SteamingLombardi
Hard to tell, I think the team will be good enough to make the playoffs if they stay relatively healthy, if Eriksson and Sedins are dominant, if the goaltending is as good or better than last year and if the Defense can improve significantly.
A combination of enough of those things going to the wrong way will likely lead to a top 5 pick again.

sorry to break it to you buddy, but all that future time travel stuff isn't real.
no one can really know who the biggest surprise is until it actually happens. maybe you shouldn't watch the science fiction shows... stick to Gunsmoke, or Bonanza... |

When everyone was healthy in 2014, the Canucks scored 242 goals. Last season when everyone was hurt the team scored 191. I'm too laze to break down how the Canucks 214 goals were distributed - but I think its fair to say that with reasonable health, the Canucks should score between 191 and 242 goals. I don't think that Jeff's Patterson's numbers are too far off, and I reckon they are more on the conservative side. I don't think its out of reach to think that Daniel, Erickson, Sven, and Bo can get 20+ goals. Sutter, Hanson, Virtanan, Henrik, Rodin get 10+ goals. If Bo and Sven don't have to face the other team's top line, I would not be surprised if even one of them potted 30. I think the bigger question is how many goals can the Canucks get out of the d? |

I don't think he has a chance to make it but looked really good a couple of years ago. Has the size and speed this team needs, I was hoping he was eligible for the AHL but apparently not and will be back with Portland.

10 goals from the D is probably all we will see. |

This is the biggest thing, if the D can't move the puck up the ice it will effect team scoring. Very interested to see what Larsen can do. |

The little female genitalia had me banned for awarding him The Whiniest B*tch of HB.
Perhaps you can get him to admit that he was wrong on blaming me for his previous ban when RealityChecker has told him twice that he reported him. He has ignored those posts and the one were I asked him if it was hard to admit he was wrong.
Please don't give him the satisfaction that I'm on a 24 hour time out. Cheers & keep up the good work.

This is what I was talking about earlier.....
Ice time is one of the biggest impacts on goal scoring, if Bo and Sven are getting 3rd line minutes they wont score 20 goals let alone 30. |

Definitly and other aspects of his play are still pretty raw but I'm stoked we ended up with him. |

Be hard, not going to lose someone to waivers like last year, if they can go to the AHL they will. |
