Staal and Girardi are the real wild cards. Supposedly, management believes both their subpar seasons were the result of going deep 2 years in a row and they both had surgeries last offseason that didn't heal in time for camp. So they think with this longer summer and no surgeries that they will both bounce back. We'll see. - rangerdanger94
Skjei will be a tremendous help just because and the reason Staal and Girardi aren't good anymore is because the Rangers have gone too deep in the playoffs, so this year they'll be good again

I don't even know what that means. They got ran over by Pitt in the first round.
This is a team that chose Staal and Girardi over Yandle and Stralman.
Pretty sad this prima donna is getting all this attention. - SABRES 89
Not sure why he's a prima Donna? Finished college, gets to choose his team. Others have done it. What I'm not impressed with is all the talking his agent likes to do

To much hype about this kid besides the Hawks, the Preds are the best team he could have signed with. Better then all the teams mentioned for him but he says no.

Alright goddamnit, you know what I meant!! Lying to your landlord is not perjury. It might be bad faith negotiations if you lie on a lease, but trying to get him to come fix a real problem isn't.
Speaking of government forms. My favorite ever question on a government form is question "d" a little past halfway down page one.
Not taking credit for this, since it only struck me as a serious contender when someone else mentioned it (can't remember who though, unfortunately), but Tampa would be a hell of a landing place for Vesey.
Northeast, blahblahblah...that team with another good young player on the cheap would be nuts.

The key being all the teams talked about. Realistically he could sign with any team come the 15th. I am not referring to the fact that he is going to be a UFA, but to the fact that every team in the NHL would welcome him on their roster. Not many UFAs can pick any team they want. Its a rare opportunity, I don't get why there is animosity towards him. He can't control the media.

It's the "he didn't earn it yet" that is the problem. He's
I heard it on they John Murphy show right as he was going off air. SFG(some fvcking guy) tweeted it. Maybe he was making it up because reputable sources were reporting that the first few years were done and they were just polishing up the rest of it.

If we throw around that kind of money to a relatively unproven player we deserve the Bills suckage curse

One, through my wife's family and this article that came out today about Chi, nyr and nj being the top 3 and bos/buf being out is garbage, pure guesswork. I honesty don't think Jimmy 100% knows what he's doing yet. I do know he's extremely comfortable with the idea of playing/living.with jack/Sam. Hometown pull has me more worried than it has in the past. I have no worries About nyr nj as a destination - turbo044
The way I see it, Sam and Jack need Vesey to live with them more than Vesey needs to live with them. A roommate old enough to legally buy beer for the house is HUGE.

if they put godzilla on the ballot, I'd take a long look at changing my vote - homiedclown
You live in NY, I live in NJ. Both of those states will go Clinton by 20 plus points. As long as the electoral college exists your vote is meaningless. If your conscience says Godzilla, I say write him in.
