It's great. One of my favorites, my buddy Jay is the owner. $6 burgers on Wednesday and they are good. He is a really good cook and comes up with amazing soups and burger combinations. I would strongly recommend it. Normally i say after 6 when mike is bartending. I'm not a fan of the female they have on during the day. And its 90% regulars who are all golfers.

90% golfers? I'm in.

Do they have a patio? How is the fish fry on Friday's?

- mhp

I dont eat fish. But my parents go there religiously every friday for it. So i would imagine it is good. And yes there is a seating area outside. It is right next to the bistro

Thanks bud. I'll tell the wife. We were looking for another place close to home with a patio, good food, etc. The hollow didn't impress us last time we were there.

Yeah i was never impressed with the hollow, but the renovations look amazing. I wonder if they changed anything with food as well.

Don't say Dustin Brown, he's done. Lewis? Pearson?

What about Hoffman?

We ate there twice this summer after the renovations. Fish was not good and service was weak. Never again.

Sadly the Hoffman dream is dead...for now. Im thinking maybe someone in their bottom 6 who they know they cant keep beyond this year. Maybe its lewis, shore, king. Makes sense for us too if the plan is to move Girgensons.

I had to watch it being the morbid (frank) I am. It's not nearly as bad as the French vaulter that snapped his leg, but worse than a nut shot.

I would honestly say the next move we make will be a ufa, probably a depth d man like Seidenberg. I would like Hudler but don't think he's on Murray's radar atm. His pressing needs are Vesey and Risto. Then Girgs and frankly no idea what they'll do with him.

Don't you have to give Nelson/Guhle a chance before you sign a guy like Seidenberg? We have six D already, he would make 6 and the scratch.

Id like them to dip into the Euro free agent market. They were in on kempny till the hawks signed him. Might be able to find an nhl regular.

I think "horrific" is a bit much, I've seen much worse injuries, but it is pretty gnarly. For any of those with morbid curiosity like me, it's worth a watch.

Even the French vaulter was a bit much for me, you could hear his leg snap. It sounded like a gunshot it was so loud. Even from a woman using her camera to film it on her TV.

I think Guhle is a year away, hence I wouldn't mind Seidenberg on a 1 year contract. Not sure Nelson is ready either.

And all of this Fowler talk has me thinking Murray wants one more d man.

Yeah, the young guys can't be a 7. They either need to be a nightly guy, or an injury call up. But you can't have them playing once every 6 games.
