Guhle isn't eligible for the AHL next year. Also I'm not sure where Nylander will play next year. He can play in the NHL, AHL, SHL, or even OHL if AIK loans him again.
- chilliard77

I thought Guhle was eligible. He's played 3 years in the WHL, is it 4 he has to play before he can see the AHL? I forget how that works.

edit- he ended up playing 6 games for Rochester at the end of last season. He has to be eligible for Rochester.

Overall, it looks pretty darn good to me. It's exciting to see a bunch of guys we have drafted a few years ago finally start to make it the pro's. How they progress from there is up to them and the Amerks coaches....

on Burgdoerfer.

John Muse was signed this summer for Rochester. He played for Charlotte and Texas last year in the AHL, pretty decent stats. he had a 2.08 and .918 for Charlotte.

edit- Muse won 2 national championships with Boston College.

It's four seasons. And those games with Rochester were on a loan after Prince Albert had been eliminated from the playoffs, so that's why he was eligible then.

If you heard anything about South Shore it was from years ago. I guess the owner passed and the family didn't want to actually run it. It's a total disaster right now. Sadly I live like 3 minutes from there and it would be my home course but it's in such awful shape. Worse than "give them a pass because of the drought" awful. Seriously you've been warned. Side note, anyone want to invest in a golf course with me?

18 Mile Creek was in pretty solid shape earlier this summer and I think it's a pretty decent public course but it's hard to get a time there.

Briarwood is private or semi private but I manage to play there 1 or 2 rounds a year and it's always in fantastic shape but it's not a super memorable course aside from a hole or two.

Haven't played Wanakah (private) but hear that is top notch.

Only other one is Harvest Hill and I'm going to try and play there for the first time on my bday in a few weeks.

No problem. It's the transfer rule getting in the way again, a year in Roch would really do him some good.

100 degrees is 100 degrees. Sure, it's worse with humidity, but it's still damn hot.

It sure would. It will be interesting what they do with him. Is another year Junior better than being the 7th D in Buffalo?

I would rather take the desert heat over the Florida humidity any day of the week.

Most likely late to the game with this:

Vegas down to three options:
There are three names the team appears to be moving forward with: the Desert Hawks, Red Hawks and the Nighthawks. These names were all registered as several different domain names by Black Knight IP Holding Company, LLC, the company owned by Las Vegas hockey owner Bill Foley within the last few weeks.

Yeah, but like our election this year it's Sophie's Choice. I'd pick the desert heat too, because I can't (frank)ing breathe in the humidity.

Yeah I really liked it back then.

Another good one down this way is Tri County in Gowanda (pretty sure). Very tough but nice.
