Went for 2 to win with no time remaining. Whatever. Preseason. Jones looked really good and really bad. Didn't see a whole bunch of EJ, numbers weren't fantastic, but not ints so that's good. Officiating was horrible, as usual.

That's fair. We'll see what happens. I don't like Buffalo's chances. Never did.

He was a 3rd round pick, sure he was the Hobey Baker winner, but there have been some major busts that have won the award in the past 15 years.

"Jimmy's, he really is an interesting kid. He has been very quiet about it. He hasn't talked much about it," said agent Peter Fish. "He and I and my other colleague Pete Donatelli, we talk to him maybe every week or so and kind of bounce things off. He also said that it wouldn't surprise him if teams just happened to be in Boston next week, and wanted to talk. But there will be no formal hosting by Vesey. I guess the Sabres were lucky there, or maybe he just doesn't want the hard sell.

If you add a high end guy it pushes everyone down one spot. Beats re signing those two and improves the top 4. This team has enough depth...the problem is they're playing above what they should be in terms of role.

We're not gonna sign ex Sabres Weber and Coliacovo to be our 7th dman. Quincey, Seidenberg, Grossman, Bartkowski are the better options.

My hockey and ref stuff is at my work since it's an ice rink so besides that my golf clubs are in garage and that's all I have the rest of the crap I wanna throw out

I have someone that's on the Sabres training staff, those were the teams I was told a few months ago that were involved but the order was my opinion. I do think the Hawks are first.

I think Tanner and Mike Schoop are the same person. Just an observation based on how they both deal with criticism, and their "analytics at all costs" attitudes.
