No one knows where he's going. I know that if I were in his shoes I'd go to the Bruins. If I wanted to win I'd go Chicago or Pittsburgh. If I wanted money I'd also go Chicago or Pittsburgh since if you get paired with one of those centers your numbers will inflate and then your next contract can be higher.

I don't know why the Rangers and Devils are as high on the list as they are. The Rangers are a pretty good team but if he's looking to win you would think Pitt or Chicago. Unless he wants to be closer to home, in which case NYC would be a good area.

Main point is we'll likely know in a week or two. Until then it's all just nonsense

Even if he was a bust it would be fine if the Rangers got him. You're basically giving up so little to get a potential top 6 guy. If he busts you lost cash and that's it. And with only a 2 year deal that has a cap on how much you can pay him it's basically as risk free as you can get in the NHL.

First of all I hope Vesey scores 12 points next year and flounders where he goes. Guys a prima donna and overrated
Second isn't it tampering if he knows he's going to one of those three places? They're not allowed to talk to him yet.

I think "tampering" is the least understood concept in pro sports.

The barn is empty, and Lunquist's ship has sailed, he'll never take the Rangers back to a cup final. There're are a half dozen teams better suited foe Vesey with a half dozen reasons why he should sign with them.

Agreed on some points. I just don't see the top 6 forward bit. Admittedly, I've not seen the guy play often, but to call him a top 6, or potential top 6 is, is my mind, off base. There's been maybe 10, MAYBE, players come out of that league (and stay their entirety) be a top 6 player in the NHL

I would go for that in a heartbeat if I were Sabres. Moulson acheived nothing in a couple years and is a dying asset and girgens is def not worth Nash. This deal would rattle the league, kind of like the Hall for Larsson deal.
