In your opinion or his? Did you ever think that maybe he just wants to live and play in a big city? this may be the only time he gets to decide where he wants to live and play. I wouldn't sign with Buffalo if I were in his shoes..

Everybody is different and the truth is none of us know what he wants other than the ability to make his own decision without being tied to a team first.

No reason to move on, walk in and pitch the kid...but I wouldn't be waiting to pull the trigger on other trades on his behalf.

No. He can just call them up on the 15th and say "hey, I want to sign with you(Rangers)." That's not tampering.

It's only tampering if a team other than the Sabres talks to him before next monday. Or if someone other than Murray pulls a Benning and says he'd love to have him on their team.

This summer is the first I've heard of the guy, and watching the interview with Vesey after the game I though he was going to get on his knees for the kid. It's probably what Garth would look like... But why would a reporter name his sources? That's just dumb. And I have no idea who Jimmy Murphy is.

I'm skeptical about Vesey just because his team plays in the ECAC, and plays teams like Brown, Clarkson, RPI, and St.Lawrence. Those teams aren't really any good...he played 10 games against those teams, scored 10 goals, and 8 assists.

I mean he also scored against good teams as well, but those teams definitely helped his totals. I'm not saying he won't be good, but I'm never too confident in players who come from the ECAC.
