I don't so you are confident they will finish in the bottom 10? Super - CanuckDon
I wouldn't bet my home either way. Far too many variables. They could compete or become a total poop show. |

Can we just focus on training camp before assuming this season is a breakout year for young guys?
One step at a time...
Once we see how that goes and whether or not any teams have to make any trades to remain cap compliant then we can make better assumptions on which team does what.
Many teams could make strides or back pedal a bit depending on injuries or other reasons.
My personal opinion is the Canucks find a way to make the playoffs. It's not realistic and not even necessarily what I want to happen but I believe it will.
I think between now and the TDL you will see some movement for unexpected teams and players being involved. |

As I have said before and I think you actually agreed with me I think they should put Bo and Loui on a line and see how they gel as that could be your future potential #1 line after the twins say farewell....but I see the masses want Loui to play with the twins.....be interesting to see what WD does to start off the year - RatedR80
I do agree with that. I think the twins need someone to chase the puck and be the one to go back deep when the puck is in our end. In the long run less wear and tear on Hank |

I think they also need less minutes and its not because they suck its because of age/ wear and tear so it would be good for you guys if another line could step up and play a few more minutes (like say one with Bo and Loui) that would also go a long way to making sure they can remain healthy for the season

Not at all. If Benning does fire Willie and they still fail then all attention points to Benning. Much like Gillis and AV |

We went to the farmers market on Stevston earlier. Good veggies and fruit. They have a winery there and a petting zoo. There was a Clydesdale horse in the corral . The wife turned to me and asked if it was wearing socks. Big effin horse.
Picked up a twenty dollar bottle of Merlot from there. |

I could see Willie going but not Benning. Not for a few more years, at least. |

Exactly.
Aqulinni has a huge ego and he wants that playoff revenue.
Benning is getting spanked by the media league wide. If the team struggles Linden and Benning could be in trouble after the season. |

I don't know about Linden . Jim is unfairly beaten in the media and by loudmouth know it all fans ( I am not referring to anyone here) . Taj and his dumb ass friend are always screaming from the mountains |

Benning has drafted Boeser Demko Juolevi JV in 3 drafts . He has also traded picks and Propects for Gudbrandson and Sven . That is a good start to building future core and add Bo ( Already in place)
7 players is close to a future core
Add Hutton and Tryamkin - VANTEL
Seems pretty damn good to me. Just wanna see some picks acquired come this TDL for a change.
In other news, I'm catching up here. Just got back from Seattle. GNR was amazing!!!!! Blown away. Figured it would be good. But it was awesome. Alice

yes....as I posted the other day, JB is the best drafting GM we've ever had....EVER. It'd be absolutely ludicrous to part w him.
If only you could mr potato head together a GM. JB's drafting ability, gillis' ability to get players to sign for less, JB's distaste for NTC's, Keenans ability to pick your pocket in a trade etc |
