I think it's due to the fact that Copp can be sent to the Moose without having to be put on waivers. Same goes for Dano, Tanev, etc. Players like Burmi and Lowry would probably be lost if we tried to send them to the Moose.

What jobs or industry is there that doesnt exist anywhere else

if you are asking seriously i have no problem answering you. There are multiple large manufacturers based here so jobs are not hard to find. Not all people hate the changing seasons, yes we have cold winters but also some of the hottest summers in Canada. Compared to larger cities you can live in a much larger house or have acres of property just outside the city for a fraction of what it would cost in other cities. We have a million lakes and although cottage prices are rising there is no shortage of lake front opportunities. I have lived in Winnipeg and Toronto and I can honestly say people completely exaggerate the weather in Winnipeg!! Minus 5 in Toronto feels like minus 20 in Winnipeg because of the dampness in Toronto. The city has 750 thousand so anyone saying there is nothing to do are idiots. Having lived in Vancouver and Toronto people in Winnipeg who complain about traffic have no clue, you can get anywhere in the city at any time in less than 45 minutes.

Peter, for the record, instead of "intensive purposes" it's actually, for all intents and purposes.

I'd like to see a entire article on the Moose. Projected line-ups, who should take a leap forward, who could surprise, first in line for call ups and so on. I am expecting a huge step forward for the Moose and not making the play-offs would be a huge let down.

I would hope it would be a younger less experienced version of himself. We would need another NHL ready, Expansion draft auto protected prospect with top 2-4 expectations and possibly another pick thrown in. we have zero need for more forwards!! If we trade Trouba and don't get a D back what happens if one of Buff or Myers goes down? We are screwed!!!

What's the status of Bryan Little? Since we was hurt near the end of last season, I haven't heard anything about him. Have looked all over and it seems like radio silence which is usually not good news.

it would make complete sense if he does get waived. he's terrible! not only that, we don't need him taking up a spot with the expansion draft......

Brown has 6 years and somewhere around 35 million remaining. I don't see Chevy agreeing to take on that contract under any circumstances. Picks are always nice but right now the team doesn't need a lot more picks than they already own. they'll probably be focusing on drafting dmen over the next 2 years.

I see the only chance of the kings getting rid of brown by buying him out.... thats about the only way he leaves la
