I think he is what he is offensively. Maybe a couple more goals one year or the next. But I think Vantel has mentioned it. He's Willie Mitchell 2.0 a more physical version.
Having a player that well liked amongst is teammates is invaluable as well.
All I'm hoping for this year is good signs. From our new #1 line, to the continued improvement of the kids. 2017 looks to be a year where they could surprise a bit:
Boeser
OJ
(Assuming Sedins continue to age gracefully)
Don't forget 2017 is also the year Canuck Nation invades Vegas. - storm88
I doubt Boeser or Juolevi crack the lineup next season. Probably need another year to percolate... if we're following the detroit model... might be better to do it that way instead of having too many young players in the lineup all at once and it gives guys like Bo, Virtanen, Gaunce (if he makes it), Tryamkin and Baertschi another year to develop with as many possible solid vets around...

I wouldn't be at all shocked if he signed before the end of this year. Once UND is finished. Assuming they don't win it all again. Less than 9 games at the end of the year. Could happen.
I'd bet he never amounts to much at all in his career. maybe a 30 point guy idk but I don't see what all the hype is about. - ClarksonDavid
He'll be a good player. Not a great player. All I hear is he is Kreider like. Perhaps a bit more skill.
I'd be ok with that. He's a free asset. I imagine he goes to BOS/T.O. as first reported. Can't see him picking NJ. Altho lots of opportunity to play there.

Yup, Boeser would make the team this year if he went pro. He obviously has things to work on, but his production as a freshman and all reports on how he looks compared to other prospects, tell me he would be top 9 on a decent team (so probably top 6 in Van... )

He is a free asset so obviously it doesnt hurt to sign him but i really dont see why hes getting so much hype, i also doubt he signs in Toronto i think it will be Boston or Chicago. Either way i hope it doesn't drag out to much longer
