I realize it was a different time, different cultural norms, etc., but I'm still flabbergasted that somebody came up with an idea for a sitcom that takes place in a German P.O.W. camp, and that said person was allowed to pitch it to a Hollywood studio.

He can play w good players anywhere that's recruiting him
What do u have that sways him over his hometown, the Cup champs, or playing on another up & coming team with his good bud?
I just don't see any reason that Philly stands out above the rest - jdfitz77
Hextall has to be the salesman and make him believe Philly can win cups even if Buffalo has him and Eichel. Vesey has 2 years to prove he's worth big bucks wherever he goes. His choice is who sells him best on they can make him into the player worth the big contracts and win cups with him.
We will find out which GM is the best used car salesman with where he signs.

All that winning that Buffalo has done (in all their sports) over the years makes it really appealing.....literally just a history of a losing. That's where I'd want to go to start my NHL career, a black hole.
Also, willing to bet Henrique has more goals and points that ROR this upcoming season. - bballboy514

If his #1 determining factor has to do with Cups...
Pitt & Chicago are pretty far ahead of everyone else
If it's play at home...
It's obviously Boston
If it's an up & coming team...
I'd say Eichel gives us the advantage over NJ, and being a year or 2 ahead of the Leafs gives us the advantage there
If it's a playoff team...
then maybe it's Philly over NYR & NYI
But why not just pick Pitt?
Not saying it's not possible
But it really doesn't seem likely
Like I asked,
What's special about the Philly situation that would make them "stand out" above all the other teams recruiting him?
