In his defence the 2nd concussion did him in (the Ovy hit) seems he realized he needs to up his game to compete.

He has really turned into a "power forward type" player his last 2 years in college.

He dedicated himself to fitness and to become a student of the game.

He is probably going to be a 2nd line LWer when it is all said and done. Not prime time first line LWer but a good 2nd line LWer.

Thanks Stripes. If we can land him and he plays like that, by the time Nylander makes it then LW may be a position of strength instead of a big question mark like it is now.

I am high on Ennis making a comeback and Kane kicking some a$$ but both things happening is about as likely as the Bills going 16-0.

Should have fined and suspended him for showing up unprepared to play. I don't care who's landlord he is. Letting him get away with it is poor leadership.

His trade value probably sucks due to the concussion. He has shown that he can play. Professional or not, playing on a "tank" team for 2 years has to wear on your motivation a little. Now that he has some talent around him..... we'll see.

I'd assume Girgensons goes before Ennis. With Ennis you take the gamble that he comes back strong and that trade value goes up or keep him as a good player. Girgensons you know what you're getting.

I'd also wager that neither get traded before the season starts. Other than potentially Vesey I think this is the team come October.

Let's not give ourselves that much credit that he is the only thing between us and a good team. If Rex wasn't here and we had a different coach the team is still (frank)ed. I still wish we had gotten Schwartz but this team has bigger issues than just the coach.

If Mr. Harvard man is so smart, why would he want to talk with the Rangers ? team is on the downhill. The Sabres and Leafs are teams on the rise.

For not caring, you seem to care quite a bit. I agree the Rags are almost through being perennial contenders but for the kid to not hear them out would be shortsighted. The city has 8 million people and not all of them are bumholes, close to his home, yadayada.
