Because Eichel and Reinhart just bought a 3 bedroom condo next to Pegula and are leaving the 3rd room open for Vesey(solely for beer buying purposes) - CoHo_to_B-Lo
Don't steal my takes and write them as your own. People seem to be pretty good at it.
As far as Hayes and Vesey buying a Condo together, how does that even work? What happens when one of them get traded or leave the team? One buys the other out? Unless the Rags swear they will let them play their entire career as a blue shirt. I'm calling shenanigans. I won't claim to know that this isn't common amongst players, but seems like it would be troublesome for two professional athletes to co-sign for a house with the uncertainty they'll always be playing together let alone live together. Maybe Hayes bought the house and there is speculation that Vesey will be his roommate, kinda like Sam and Jack, but seems odd they would be co-owners of the same mortgage. |

I'd trade Ennis. I'd trade Kane. I'd trade Girgensons.
I'd also take any of the 3 in our top 9 any day.

ennis put up 1.59 points per 60 minutes on top 2 lines
moulson put up 1.31 points per 60 minutes killing penalties and playing on the bottom 6
your move - homiedclown
Ennis played "poorly" in a new system and with a new coach and new teammates. If the point you're trying to make here is that Moulson is more valuable than Ennis I don't think you're going to convince many here. One went from .53 p/g to .26 p/g while the other went from .59 p/g to .48 p/g. Moulson went from a top 6 player to a player that needed to have his minutes limited because he wasn't producing.
Ennis needs to be better and needs to play the system but he's not a bad player. If anything we've heard from a more credible source that Moulson is the one who slacked on his conditioning and gets paid even more than Ennis.

Moulson did have the lowest point total of his career though. He also makes more than Ennis.
If we're going to be mad at anyone it should be Moulson. |

The big issues are the contracts of Ennis and Kane IMO
If they aren't producing like top 6 forwards time to move on. |

Who wouldn't start with Moulson but you're not getting someone to trade for him. Vegas is our only hope. |

I thought the same thing but apparently I was mistaken.
I'd like to keep Ennis this year to at least raise his value. If he comes out and looks like the same player he was before the injury you'll get a lot better haul than if you trade him now. Of course there's the risk he doesn't but I think the risk is worth the reward.
All that said, if the deal comes to make the team better you take it |

the only shot ennis has at being a top 6 player for this team in 12 months is if they move kane
and if they get vesey, there is no room for ennis or kane unless your trading reinhart for a top pair d man |

Top 9. We need 9 forwards who can play. |

The New York Rangers would like to invite you to a meeting about a timeshare opportunity.
For 20 minutes of your time, you can choose a new set of golf clubs, or top 6 minutes on a rapidly declining team. - sbroads24
That will be really embarrassing for the Sabres if Vesey chooses to sign with a rapidly declining crap team that only has 1 good player who is already 34 as opposed to the up and coming super stacked and young Sabres. |

So let's trade him in 12 months. There's no guarantee that Nylander is making the team. Let Ennis play this year, get some points, and then trade him when his value is higher.
I've also said many times that Ennis could be a good 3rd line scoring center. Roll 3 scoring lines instead of just 2 and try to play the matchup game. He has speed and can put up points. A 3rd line of Girgensons-Ennis-Bailey would work for me while you have those 6 guys above him. It's a more expensive 3rd line but if you're dropping Gionta and Franson next year and replacing some higher paid players with people on ELCs you can potentially swing it. If you can, great. If you can't then you trade him.
I'm fine with trading him. I won't agree that he's a bad player, worse than Moulson, or that he needs to be traded lest he taint the team. |

It would be embarrassing, for Vesey. We all think he is smart, going to Harvard and that would be a unintelligent signing. |

Yep. Also embarrassing for the 3x cup winning Hawks or reigning champ Penguins if he signs with the Rags too. Oh well, it's his life. |
