One Seneca Tower was bought for only 12 Million dollars. That's not a bad deal

According to TheScore Vesey's decision is unlikely happening today. That's what they report his agent has said.

So there's that

I'm having a tough time believing this is that hard, quite amazing actually.

Girgensons for Skinner. Do you do that deal? More can be added from our side, of course
- Zschalberg

Absolutely, and for the people concerned about his health, he played 77 in 14-15, and 82 in 15-16 with 28 goals.

Yandle says it was an easy decision to sign with the Panthers, "they showed they really wanted me by trading for me and giving me a long term contract".

I think the bigger concern (as it is with Ennis) is that he is a hit away from another long headache.

That was what I was thinking, too. Would fill out that top 6 in case we miss out on Vesey. That said, I understand the idea that you don't want to get smaller with an injury history.

Just thought I'd float that idea

Any player could be, potentially. Ennis and Skinner have already had the concussions but each player in the NHL could get a concussion that ends their career. They're just at a higher potential risk

If Girgs is the centerpiece of the trade, I can deal with that.

between okoposo, eichel, reinhart, ror and kane
I expect 4 players to get 30 goals, the other over 20

ennis, gionta, girgens, moulson, larsson
3 of them should improve and be close to 20 goals

we got 29 goals from out d last year, gotta think we get closer to 50 from them

maybe it's the glue

- homiedclown

So you expect the team to score 250+ goals?

Top 4 guys: 4*30
Other in your list of 5: 20
3 "close to 20): 3*15
Other 2 from that list: 2*10
D-men: 45

For goalies that have played at least 100 games Cory Schneider has the best Sv% of all time (.925). He is followed by Tuuka and Talbot (.924) and Hasek (.922).

Just some fun facts for friends' Fridays.

Haven't seen him play,
But based on his numbers improving every year I'd say he's worth a shot
We have room for contracts

That would put us at 2nd for the year. 210-225 is more likely, would put us at 12th to 22nd.

Like I said, I don't expect more than one 30 goal guy this year.

It's gonna have to be totally gutted though
12mil might seem "cheap" but how much will they have to put into redesigning & updates they're planning?
I'm guessing quite a bit...
I've heard they want to do retail, condos, offices & a hotel there

Kid better be able to carry his weight because the way he went about this is not gonna carry over well in a locker room or with fans.

I personally don't think he'll live up the the self-created hype.

Its not like he has been on Mars for years, he has been sitting on this for months, its not like he doesn't know who the teams are. Most are lying to him anyway or at the very least telling him exactly what he wants to here.

Despite the guarantees being made to him, none will be upheld if he can't play up to top 6 caliber. Realistically, its not that hard as has been seen many times every July 1st.

Oh that will cost an arm and a leg, but they were talking about it costing 20+ on top of those renovations as well. It's definitely an investment but the sticker price is much lower than I anticipated.

They need to completely redo the outside, the windows need to all be replaced with ones suitable for housing, the interior is outdated and needs to be redone. They need to make it more pedestrian friendly as well on the outside since it was built like a fortress. Not to mention the asbestos removal

What did he do wrong? He said since he was with Nashville that he wanted to go to Free Agency. If he hadn't been traded this wouldn't be a story. He then did exactly what he said he would. Now he's mulling his options. He has teams coming to him so he's listening.
