I believe U2 is a band there is no real in between with. You either like them or hate them. I've soured on the newer stuff but the old stuff to me stands as some of the top music of that era.

Hating U2 is like the coolest thing a person can do. I don't get it, they're easily one of the greatest bands of all time. Few bands have as many good albums or songs.

That said, Echo and the Bunnyman could have been U2 if they picked a better name.

Achtung Baby had maybe four worthwhile tracks on it, the rest is complete garbage. The last U2 music I ever bought.

Unforgetable Fire and Joshua Tree were heavy rotation for me in high school and college. But something about War and October just hit home to me.

Achtung Baby and Zooropa definitely started to head towards the jump of the shark for me. Pop about killed it.

Mostly agree, but I think Richardson is the 4C and Dvorak is 3C.
Would also love to see Garland or Perlini make the team.
I think Murphy plays with OEL again and Stone with G, but Stone will have a short leash and will get replaced by Schenn (or a call up) if he falters.

This off season kind of reminds me of the '93 Phillies: bring in a ton of options and see who clicks. Then give the ball to some dead-arm cornflake who serves up one of the most famous gopher balls in history. I swear I'm not bitter (still).

I'd also have the 3 decade run if I went to the 360 tour but most of my friends couldn't afford it.

Bold choice. To be honest, the only u2 album I hate is All that you Can't Leave Behind, and even then, it's mostly the singles, but I probably never played No Line after initially competing it and setting it on my shelf.
