I think I bought their first 7 albums.....Hip fan since 1989. I think Trudeau summed it up nicely when he said that we all wondered/ hoped for international success but it's kind of nice they never achieved it.

I know several people who were at the show tonight, good for them. It was great of CBC to show it to the rest of us.

Watched the Kingston concert n was choked up to the core.

Never was a fan of the Hip, but god did I watch the concert tonight, maybe they never rose to the heights that say Bryan Adams did or be as well known as the Barenaked Ladies. Say what you will, the Tragically Hip will always be the quintessential Canadian band.

And yes, CBC should be commended for showing it to everyone.

The wife had some friends over. We BBQd . Drank . We watched the concert. I told them they are watching Canadian history being made. Everyone was from the Philippines and realized it now their culture too
