This Vesey thing is overkill to the extreme. This is not Sydney Crosby we are talking about. The guy was not a first round pick, refuses to sign with the team that drafted him and now acts like he is the prize catch in hockey. Prima donna syndrome.

Half of your statement is true. He hasn't acted like he's a prime catch, the teams have. They're they ones rolling all of this out to him. He wants to meet with teams. That doesn't make him a prima donna, it makes him smart, imo.

Several teams want to sign him.

He wants to listen to each offer, evaluate and then make a decision that will dictate where he will live and work for the next 5-12 years.

Why is that so bad?

Susan Sarandon, Justin Tuck, Boomer Esiason, Linda Cohn and Run DMC

I know like 2 of those names and neither are that important that I would be wowed. Figured New York could do a lot better.

That's the only thing he did and that was months ago. Most people have been over that for a while (except Nashville fans, of course). He had 4 months left until he could choose where he plays. I'd wait a little bit longer, too.

Like I said, I don't think he did anything that bad. Not like he's the first player to not play for the team that drafted him
