Amen my brother 89, thank you. I lost my mom at 58 and my dad at 54 to this hideous disease. One of my best golf buddies hasn't played this year, was diagnosed with leukemia last year and was luckily to have a bone marrow transplant earlier in the year. Sad to hear about that guy from the HIP.

I was wondering where the video game remark was coming from. It's a silly thing anyone who's ever played the NHL series knows. Even when Max wasn't on the Sabres and they actually hid him on team Russia when he was out of the NHL I still went into the free agents and picked him up because his speed was like 96 or something and that's all you need in those games is the fastest players. Rico Fata was another guy I used to get because he was so fast. And a couple others I can't remember at the moment.

It's a bit better the last few years. But still, speed kills.

i wonder if there has ever been a rookie that 29 fan bases hoped would fall flat on his face more than Vesey.

I might have been able to take it if he signed with Boston on the 16th, or any team except Buffalo (Only cause that makes no sense after they has his rights this long) on the 16th because then his waiting might have made some sense.

the whole thing has been a nauseating joke.

Not sure he did. I think a lot hinged on what Kreider, Hayes and Miller all resigned for. They combined for like 5 mil less than what people projected they would resign for.

Don't think NY knew they could fit Vesey until recently

I tend to agree with MM in that this felt like Brad Richards part II, even though the situations weren't the same, the end result added with everything Vesey has said do make it seem more than a little similar.

Agreed. I meant more along the lines of the player knowing where he wanted to go the entire time.

I don't really care for the UFC, I got that poop out of my system when I was 14, I prefer my staged fighting with bare-knuckles and skates, but Conor McGregor is one hell of an entertainer. And he doesn't blow smoke either, for the most part.
