Am I the only one who thinks we should go after Pirri? With what has gone down with him recently, I'm betting he'd be a cheap option for a 1 year deal (giving kids one more year to develop) and he could help round out the bottom 6.

Best player in the trade was Kane, then Myers, then Stafford and Bogo.
Unfortunately it's the off ice crap that makes it look like a big Jet win in the trade.

No, I think you start Pirri there, and when there is an inevitable injury, you move him up the line-up as needed. He's a vet, he knows the score, so you sign him on a 1 year deal (maybe I'm naive, but it seems he's fallen out of favor for whatever readon) and have him be your rover so to speak.

He got more hype than the top coveted Free Agents. He also took way longer to sign than the top coveted free agents. Something definitely wrong with that picture.

Had a great year in college and already signed his ELC. He will probably be an NHL'ER next year.

Bogo is ok. Not that good. Not horrible. Big contract, injured a lot. I'll never get the appeal.

Then Stamkos saw how legit we were and signed here. Then Vesey was like, yea I'll play 3rd line LW to Saad and Hall, and Lindholm was like, trade me to Buffalo, and we won the cup.
