Yep, glad we did. And with him on the Rangers there is a very, very slim chance he ever wins a cup in his prime - sbroads24
I'll agree with that |

Good! I actually have a source with the Bills, and the weight thing was only part of the issue. This guy is a loser!
I know it's legit because my source informed me of Shaq Lawson about a week before it was announced among other smaller things. |

I'd move on from Dareus too. Use that money for Gilmore. I just don't think you can afford to keep a guy at that cap hit who may not play an entire season next year. |

If we stand pat and just sign Risto and Girgs the roster could look like this:
Kane-ROR-Okposo
Ennis-Eichel-Reinhart
Moulson-Girgs-Bailey?
Foligno-Larsson-Gionta
D-Lo
Kuli-Risto
McCabe-Bogo
Gorges-Franson - mhp
If goaltending holds up (big IF),
I think we still have a legit shot at the playoffs
This is how I see it...
Almost Certainly in:
Tampa, Pittsburgh, Washington
Be very surprised if they miss:
NYR, Florida
Either just make it, or just miss:
Detroit, NYi, philly, Montreal, Buffalo
Probably miss:
Boston, New Jersey, Carolina, Columbus
Almost certainly miss:
Ottawa, Toronto |

Dareus has made some dubious decisions since coming into the league, no doubt, but the NFL needs to change the policy on a missed test counting as a failure. If the player misses a test but takes one in a reasonable amount of time afterwards they shouldn't get punished as if they had a positive test. |

That's fair, but why did he miss the test?
If it's a funeral or loved one in the hospital, etc then it makes sense
If u know you're gonna get suspended,
Better have a damn good reason for missing
Otherwise, get your butt there |

I have a hard time blaming him. If you look throughout the league, every team has these idiots that just can't follow the rules, so I can't expect him to know that Dareus is going to fail (miss) two drug tests, drag race, etc. He clearly is talented, and I was behind giving him the big money, but now it's just too risky to keep him when I have zero faith he won't do it again and miss an entire season. Especially when Gilmore could be gone as well because we couldn't afford him.
I hear ya though, I'm not trying to totally defend him. He's like Murray, I like that he's willing to take swings. |

when you flunk 2 drug tests in 12 months, and you come in out of shape.........
easy decision in my book, because they have other rbs
19 times out of 20, the O line makes the rb |

Last season the Sabres lost 14 one goal games in regulation and another 11 in OT/SO. If they cut those numbers in half they end up with around 100 points and host a first round series. You basically need to find 30 more goals than last season to have a reasonable shot. Ennis, Moulson, Okposo, Kane, and Eichel should all be expected to score more than last season for sure I would think. If we get any semblance of goaltending I like our chances. |

I don't know, but Le'Veon Bell failed to communicate a phone number change and missed a few tests resulting in his suspension. |

our D scored 29 goals last year
no reason not to expect 40-50 from that group this year |

Stafford was a pending UFA. Probably would have got the token 2nd rounder at the TDL.
IMO value wise Myers=Kane
25th overall, Armia, Lemiuex, Stafford >>>>>>>>>>>>> Bogo - sbroads24
I don't think Myers had that much value bc he'd been struggling for a while at that point
I saw it more as
Myers + Stafford (2nd) for Bogosian & Kasdorf
Armia, Lemieux, 1st for Kane
Both overpayments
Not super excessive though
I'll be ready to judge the trade after this year plays out
I wanna see if Kane can grow the F up, score 25g
And if Bogo can be the guy we saw in the 2nd half for a full season now that he's healthy
If they can do that, I'll be happy

Idk how that works...
But no one could get ahold of him?
That sounds fishy in today's world
Unless he was in Aruba or something
Btw,
I've got him 3rd on my fantasy draft board for all u fellow nerds out there
A. Brown, J.Jones, L.Bell
Especially if it's PPR |

What money? The bills would have about 48 million in dead cap if they cut Dareus. That's more than 33% of their cap. |
