Well, they both started their NHL careers in 2007 - 08, and both have averaged 0.69 ppg since then.

And they are both on 7 year contracts with $6Million AAV.

So, you might be WRONG again. (and even if Okposo is second most desireable free agent, that's not waiting for the franchise to win).

I think this team hits 90 pts too (or close to it). My guess is if they are on this pace they will be within striking distance of a playoff spot and the sabres will be buyers at or near the deadline. As long as its not another moore or torres type add it should be enough to push them over the unofficial playoff mark of 92-94 pts.

Montreal is the hardest game and we get our western Canadian road trip out of the way real early. Sabres could realistically have 10+ points by the end of that month compared to 8 in 11 games to start last October.

And a lot of shootouts we lost as well. Points that were left on the table. Swing a few of those 1 goal games and shoot outs and we can get lucky. Gotta put it all together

Depends on who is out there for what. We're not at the point where we want to give too much away for a rental but I would be cool with trading a 2nd/prospect for a roster player to help. But at that price you might be getting a Moore type player. Or a McGinn.
