We've got big problems. Ennis is a question mark due to his health and also he hasn't played much LW. Moulson is done. Girgensons is not a top six player on even a 10th placed team. Foligno is not a top six player on even a 13th placed team. Larsson isn't a top six player on ANY NHL team. And Nylander likely won't be rushed into NHL duties. Instead starting in Rochester

Nash has a huge cap hit, should get very interesting trying to move him (as well as No trade Clause?) But interestingly enough, Nash does NOT have to be protected for Las Vegas draft next year.

But he's absolutely capable of doing it.

Kane, Ennis, Girgensons. Its not perfect by any means and i would like them to add one more name but hardly consider it "screwed". Eichel and O'Reilly are very good at making players around them look better than they actually are.

Tell me you would not have wanted the Sabres to make those trades (that Coyotes made) for these two.... Sure we would have had to shed cap to make it happen, but getting the two players they got, Crouse and Chychrun, would offset that quite a bit.

Damn. Their GM looks pretty darn smart right not.

Im leaning towards that too. I think that top 6 can get you in the playoffs. Blueline and bottom 6 are a bigger concern for me.

No one else on the team deserves to be top six unless Nylander performs in Eichel like status.

It would have been a slight step backwards, that is the major concern for Murray (job security).

Oh well, lets just hit on a few of these young players in rounds 3 (or later) and we should be set. (in future years)

As for this year, need another solid forward (might just be Ennis) and top 4 D (very hard to obtain) and we will be in the second round of the playoffs.

The Rags need d help, not more forwards. Looks like Vesey will be in the AHL before Xmas. I would think a trade might be coming there.
