For the record, better coaching alone will improve their record by half a dozen points as a team.

And while I'm letting off some steam, I'm still a little irked by the McCann trade but certainly understand the organizations need for a young defenceman like Gudbranson.

I think McCann's career will be wasted in Florida because they'll put him on the wing where he shouldn't be. He's a natural center with great wheels and skills that are best suited for him to play center for someone.

Personally I'm looking forward to a bunch of kids, Virtanen Horvat Baertschi Tryamkin Hutton, taking the next step in their NHL careers. If there's a measurable improvement I'll be happy.

I don't expect them to make the playoffs, there'll be lots of highs and lows over an 82 game/6 month schedule, but I do expect them to take a step forward, not backwards.

I haven't been there since 2007 and all 8 visits were for business. The best thing I did in Vegas was outside of Vegas, helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon.

If you're spending more than three days there be sure to get OFF the strip, there's so much more to Vegas than the strip!

I've stayed at Caesars, Paris twice and the Imperial Palace….it really doesn't matter where you stay (as long as it's a good deal) because you can walk to any other hotel for gaming or eating or entertainment.

I was married there 10 years ago today. We are going on Wednesday for our anniversary week party. We are staying at the Aria. I will let you know when we get back what was fun. We are probably going to spend a ton of money on food(surprise).

I just don't see a big jump from third last to a playoff spot. I'm looking forward to seeing a better defense and maybe a forward or two surprising. As long as they continue to gradually improve then I'm happy.

I always stay at Planet Hollywood. It is the best out of the mid range hotels. Great value and perfect location

Personally I hate that they put Vancouver on the Jersey. Its like a vanity plate on a car. You see it and you go oh isn't that douche bag full of himself.
