NTC don't count, even full NTC, and there's some dispute whether Gorges' was voided by the trade which would make it irrelevant. Moulson only has a limited NTC.

The only guy we have to protect that maybe some wouldn't like is Bogo.

Keith is 33, Seabrook 31. It's possible neither finishes out their current contracts, but barring serious injury, I'd expect both to still be playing in 3 years. Due to his style of play and concussion history, I'd say Seabrook is less likely to finish out his contract. Keith on the other hand is a health and fitness nut who plays a style that is well suited to career longevity. It wouldn't shock me a bit if he was still playing into his late 30's.

Same could be said for Hossa, though my guess is he'll be Prongered at some point to avoid potential recapture penalties.

No problem. I can see the issue with Bogo for sure, unless he has a solid injury free season and he's worth protecting.

Edit- never mind, just looked it up. You can protect 7 forward 3 dman and 1 goalie or 8 skaters and 1 goalie.
