Funny when people don't know squat about their own team. Seguin was something forced on Chiarelli by Neely, and Boychuk had to be moved for cap reasons. What a horrible GM! - Xaos22
Actually yes.
A talent like Seguin? FIGURE IT OUT!
Boychuk was a cap casualty for a string bad contracts like Kelly for example. You'll find out soon enough, as if Lucic contract and Hall trade weren't enough. Most his "success" was built in from brief tenure of Gorton and dumb luck fleecing Toronto twice. |

Yes. It's called regression. Also when you factor in playing style you notice certain style regress much more rapidly. - Feds91Stammer
I will agree that Weber is far more physical than Subban ever will be but PK being one of, if not the most hated player in the NHL, I can assure you that players enjoy taking healthy runs at him on the regular and that, I would imagine, also takes a serious toll on your body over time... and it's not likely to get any easier for him in the West |

Never heard the bolded before....
And yes, Boychuk was traded for Cap reasons, doesn't mean they shouldn't have traded perhaps other players or get something different in return. |

You realize teams with the best Corsis usually win the cup right? - Feds91Stammer
They do? Well there you have it folks. If Shea Weber had played for the Pens last season they wouldn't have won the Cup. Good thing Rutherford dodged that bullet. |

Maybe you should go watch the video released of by the Bruins of management trading Seguin. Chiarelli looks impossibly dumb. - BINGO!
Hes a bumbling idiot. Most Edmonton fans still can't come to grips with it... |

Correct PK is better at puck possession so he is more likely to get hit. |

EDIT: Also 2 2nd rounders for Boychuk was absolute steal for NYI. Terrible trade |

Weber doesn't crack the top 10. Maybe tail end of the top 20 sure. - Feds91Stammer
You're an hypocrite and a (frank)ing idiot. That's like saying Kucherov isn't a top 25 forwards in the league. You really should type less and think more. Your hatred for the Habs is kinda cute though. |

Well Weber did have a NEGATIVE 16.95% relative scoring chances for during the playoffs last season. |

I think we may just have a different opinion on "top defensemen".
For instance, I don't think Ekblad is better than Shea Weber right now, but will he be at some point? Yes, obviously sooner than later and yes I'd take him before Shea Weber if I was building a team.
But if my goal is to win THIS year and I need the best out there, Weber is in that top 10 for me for sure.

PK also has high possession numbers because he often hangs on to the puck too long more often than not resulting in a turnover, also explaining why he sits near the top of the league in that category as well |

I've gone on record to say Kuch is better than Stamkos. Other than that what you said makes no sense. Also why would I hate a team with a poop coach and poop GM? |
