Lehner and Ennis because they have huge question marks about staying healthy. The rest because they're simply not very good players. |

Im tempted to put Kulikov in there because his role on this team far exceeds what hes capable of. |

Unless the team gives up an exorbitant amount of money or in trade to acquire a guy, I will usually give him a pass in the first year.
On that note, I still think the Okposo deal is one they will try to get out from under in four years. |

Enough with the optimism. Haven't you heard? We're going to end up with 48 points and come 4th in the lottery draw this year. In early November, Lehner is going to beat the snot out of Jack, ROR and Samson in practice leaving them all permanently injured. On his way to his sentencing, Lehner will slip on a banana peel, smack his head and be done for the next 5-years due to on-going concussion related issues. In a panic move, GMTM will sign Nilsson to an 8-year, $80 million contract.

if disco dan tries to win games 5-4 or 4-3 this team could be decent
if he tries to win games 2-1 or 1-0 we will be a lottery team again |

Agreed. Risto is good but why kill him with minutes. Play him 22 minutes a night and give McCabe and Bogo the added time. If you have a lot of top 4 players and not enough top 2 players it seems like the best route |

Sabres 1st 41 games: 15-22-4, 93 GF, 113 GA, 1225 SOG, 20.00% PP, 77.32% PK
Sabres 2nd 41 games: 20-14-7, 108 GF, 109 GA, 1193 SOG, 17.74% PP, 86.78% PK
Sabres in the 2nd half of the year had a 94 point pace, a near even GA/GF, and a better PK. The biggest change looks to be the fact that they scored 15 more goals and gave up 5 less so they were able to get offense without opening up the game all that much for the other team. Interestingly, they had less shots in the 2nd half, only about 30 less, but that means they weren't just shooting more.
Take this info as you will, just found it interesting. If I read into it at all it looks like the team learned to play together, learned to play the system, or just grew as the year went on. If that happens to start the year they could be good. Score more, win more. |

Young guys got better.
Everyone learned the system.
This year we add talent.
We will have 98 points at year end. If we're in it at TDL and make a big acquisition, we'll have 100.
Yes I know there will be questions about Sugar Ray, but he is going to blow people away like Neuvirth, Lindback and CJ did. |
