I think a Girgensons for Nichushkin swap is pretty fair actually. The only thing I don't like is then that puts Larsson as our 3c assuming Reinhart starts on the wing again.

It's not that simple as pure numbers. Ruff didn't play him a ton in Dallas and I think he had some injury issues as well. If it was a Girgs for Nich deal I think it would have been done by now.

He had 9 goals and 20 assists in 79 games. Girgs had 7 goals and 11 assists in 71 games.

I just think it's crazy how down people are on Girgensons. He's still a young player who was a top half 1st rounder.

Was just reading about him last week (after the hear no evil see no evil pic was posted) . Was wondering what he was up too. Saw seclusion and his Gilda charity. Pretty much retired and did say if someone asked he wouldn't turn down an acting gig if he liked it. Sad to see him go.

Well, it would be nice to have someone that can score.Wasnt there a fallout with Faksa? He was projected as a Girgensons type player. He seemed like a target for the Sabres at the time and of course picked by Stars right before Girgensons. Let's do it GMTM. Maybe he'll be a bit of a late bloomer like Galchenyuk.
