I don't see how "This is how good the goalie was while this player was on the ice" is advanced. |

Step 1: Make argument
Step 2: Have stats shown to you that prove your argument is invalid
Step 3: Claim stats, advanced stats, and anything not your original thought is stupid. |

Wouldn't have been terrible if they kept Eller and Subban. And left Shaw alone. |

It's not like it puts the Habs in a difficult position.
And the reward can easily be worth it.
I'm telling ya, it's going to work out. |

I'm very calm but please someone for the love of Harambe tell me if Subban and Weber had nearly identical on ice save percentages over the last 3 years why does Subban have a +101 goal differential and Weber only has a +29 goal differential? |

Eller sucks, no other way to put it.
They traded Subban because obviously he, somehow, became a problem for the team. We'll never know the extent of it but it's pretty obvious to me it wasn't his level of play that justifies this trade.
You know I like Weber. Long term of course it's a bad trade for the Habs but if anything, I agree that the Habs are looking better this year than they did last year.
And obviously... theres Price. |

You know there are about 10000 factors that could explain this. Does that differential considers PP/PK time? or it's the actual +/- stat we all know and love (and don't really respect). |

who knows, but 5.75m on a player you are hoping produces...thats a lot of cash on a gamble when that could have been invested maybe in a more sure thing.
I would gamble on the player, just not for that price tag. |

5 million is also a pretty big cap hit for a fairly unproven goalie if it doesn't work out...and thats over 5 years |

I dunno if Radulov will work or not but I don't think he hurts you that much even if he doesn't. |
