Serious question - are you guys happy that the team is choosing to hang onto the sedins instead of trading them and triggering a rebuild? I know as a Bruins fan that were kind of in a similar situation, where we're trying to maintain a competitive team, but part of me wants to just go for a rebuild with a few players retained. Although, you aren't in a bad spot either, because at least you would up with a top pick instead of 14 aka the death valley of the draft |

I think most fans are happy because our prospects get to learn from two of the hardest working players in the league. They are also great people. It's all irrelevant because you can't trade two 7 million dollar twins in a salary cap league. |

I don't any one is trading for the Sedins. Also Benning would be tarred and feathered if he did so. |

Robbie Schremp was too. Marner will be an AHL regular in 3 years, then make the move to Russia to salvage what was a bust of a career. - Scooby_Doo
There There was another undersized lad (almost identical at draft) who went over 2 points per game in the OHL prior to entering the league and he did okay for himself.... In fact, he won the Art Ross and Hart last year |

Yes but he was a lefty.
Short right handed players never make it, just ask Steve Kariya and Kyle Wellfed.

They have NMC so they probably won't accept a trade to a team that won't take them both.
Didn't really think of that.
