lol and he just turned 28 this summer... Dude will be 34 when his contract is up. He'll be so old he'll be pissing/sh1tting his pants uncontrollably 5 years into his contract. - laughs2907
I just like how this season he may not have enough left to produce. |

I will have to ask my Rabi the next time I see him.
Fun fact of the day: Gingers are rarely bitten by mosquitoes because we are so pasty white they assume we have poor blood supply, and soulless blood is not a tasty or desirable meal for them. - leonkennedy
This also applies to Zombies.
But, I was told by a barstool profit that Gingers can handle physical pain more than those with Souls.

Flames might be interested.....could probably trade some of Burke's ties for him. But none with cool patterns.....just straight up one color ties.
Take it or leave it. I could care less. |

The Janitor is the future face of the NHL.
Janko and 1 jet black Burkie Tie for Connor McDavid.
I will put ink to this trade, You win this time Laughs. You owe me big time for pushing this through. Not sure how the guys on the Flames thread will feel about it. |

Yes the Oilers have been rebuilding since 2007, probably before since that team relied on a bunch of rental players and Roloson playing the best hockey of his career.
Still this year, to help with the baby steps we traded our most developed first overall pick and still didn't do anything to add a top tier defenseman. Our only hope is that Klef keeps improving the way he has and Davidson surprises us with another impressive jump in his game. Barring that we need our young guys to improve during the off season as we did nothing to improve the team. With the exception of adding a better back up tender and again our first round pick is decent and we might need him to play this year.
The only thing Chiarelli has proven he can do is draft his first pick with the consensus player. Then he just grabs big guys that are either injury prone or can't really play.
I would be happy if we managed to finish out of the bottom 5. Which is possible. I think we will be on the bubble but Luckily WIN, TOR, NYR, VAN and CAR look pretty awful. Fingers crossed that we can at least pass those guys. |

Hey Matt, I was thinking about the Oilers lines this year. How do these look?
Lucic-McDavid-Yakupov
Kassian-RNH-Pulijarvi
Pouliot-Draisaitl-Eberle
Maroon-Letestu-Pakarinen
From my perspective, even without Taylor Hall, the offence in Edmonton is still pretty stacked! I also think that Draisaitl should play with a veteran like Eberle as he did awesome when Hall was on his wing and he definitely needs a veteran presence. I think Kassian would fit great with RNH and Pulijarvi in order to add that grit to the line.
Just my thoughts.... - TheUltimateJet
I'd like Maroon on a top 2 line. McLellan will have to see how these guys mess with each other, but we've got speed, skill, size & grit. If the D stays healthy this could be a fun season. |

If you had perhaps said "offensive defenseman" then maybe I could have sorta seen your point. But you can't seem to remember that a defenseman's first job is to defend. And as far as the numbers go you'd be hard pressed to find someone better at that than Larsson.
