I'll just add my two cents on the movie talk and then I'll be gone.
Recently seen Sausage Party and thought it sucked. It looked so good too, but it reached for jokes it just failed on. The whole movie was nothing but sex and race innuendo. It really had potential but they just dropped the ball on this one.
But an absolutely great movie I just watched was "The Witch" which just came out on DVD. So Amazing!!! Creepy and terrifying. The acting was fantastic and the twist at the end made this movie an instant cult classic. If you like scary chit for Halloween pick this one up, but be carefully researching it online, a lot of websites give away its fantastic ending. |

I don't get the hate for D-Lo. He's a serviceable 4th line forward who hits, stirs it up in the corners, fights and can also play D on occasion. If our bottom 9 was better he would be the 13th forward but I like the way he plays.
And I don't think Murray will be doing any PTO's for a forward, maybe a d man. There are enough young forwards to look at in camp- Fasching, Bailey, Nylander. |

blood father exceeded my expectations, as mel gibson as fallen so far down the ladder. it was decent, and non stop.
there isn't much out there for movies, and the summer blockbusters really came up short from expectations

d lo is fine for a 4th liner
problem is the coach needs to keep him on the 4th line |

And I'm fine with that, keep him as the LW on the 4th line. He has a place in this lineup. |

Which d man would you like here on a PTO?
1) Russell
2) Grossmann
3) Seidenberg
4) Quincey
5) Bartkowski
Do we take a flyer on Ehrhoff? |

I highly doubt either Ehrhoff or the Sabres front office want anything to do with each other.
Seidenberg is the one I would invite. |

Seidenberg or Bartkowski for me. You could probably get anyone of those guys on a 1 year $1.5M deal. |

I would probably think so on Ehrhoff, looks like he could be done in the NHL. |

No hate for him, I'd just prefer him as the 13th forward |

I wouldn't want to add a dman unless it was a big upgrade to the top 4, none of these guys really are a huge upgrade (if at all) to our bottom pair. For now I'm fine with Falk as 7th with Nelson getting the call up for injuries. |
|
|
|
I'd take a flier on Adam Pardy though, another guy you can put in the AHL then call up in case of injuries who's actually not too bad. |

Yes, I agree chilliard, Pardy would be a decent depth guy |

6)Guhle/Nelson. Give them a fair shot. The upside from them is far better than those 5 guys. |

Well never posted a rumor but here we go:
There is a chain of mouths to this as my Uncle knows a guy who works for the Sabres in "a non hockey related position"...why he knows anything about what GMTM is doing, I really don't know but:
Apparently we ARE going after Nichushkin. He said the trade centered around Ennis who Ruff likes and has maintained contact with after going to Dallas. The reason for the hold up is obviously the injury and Dallas wants to see him further away from it symptom free before they pull the trigger. Ennis is being added to on our end, but was told it was only an AHL lifer (perhaps Catenacci is what my Uncle guessed with no supportive evidence) and one of our 2nd round picks.
I felt tentative when considering whether or not to post this as I know 89 and a few others get serious guff for posting solid stuff (which this probably isn't)...but take it for what it's worth...thought it was at least interesting. |

Yea if nothing else its nice discussion material. Straight up for Girgs would have made more sense, moving ennis + for him seems like a reach |

Saw a couple of holes in it: 1) He's a RW not the LW we need 2) A lot to pay for a guy that just got 29 pts last year
I wouldn't be opposed to it if they can figure out how to drop the 2nd rounder to a 4th or later. I do think he could be a guy that needs a change of scenery to improve. |

I wouldn't mind it either I just dont think you have to give up Ennis to get him. He's done nothing to warrant any sort of good return. |

Thanks for the info, and please don't be cautious about posting rumors regardless of how legit the sources may be, this is a rumor site, and nobody could be worse than Ekland.
As for the rumor itself, I feel it's very interesting, but I'm not sure if we should be the team adding on this one. Ennis is a consistent 20 goal score who had a tough go last year. Other players have come back from bad concussions and there is no reason as of right now to believe Ennis won't bounce back either. Nuchushkin has done nothing so far in his career to prove a Ennis ++ return. I think we may be trading for our next Grigorenko here. Let Ennis play in this seasons top 6 and get a decent return for the guy at the deadline if he needs to be moved so badly.
