We were going through her closet when we were packing and found a ton of crap from high school.
I told her pretty simple. The people we knew in High School that we still care about we talk to all the time even living down here, throw the rest of that crap out.
But she's very sentimental and obviously I knew that so I can't push too hard. - Stripes77
I think part of it is that I've moved so many times in the last 10ish years that the thought of moving the stuff just for it to sit in boxes and take up space makes me want to vomit. If I haven't used it/looked at it in the past 6 months or so, time for it to go.
I'll admit I have a ton of clothes, but I've even gotten rid of a bunch of that lately (two giant contractor bags that got donated to goodwill). Gonna be moving again for hopefully the last time for quite awhile at the beginning of November. So my consolidation efforts have increased again. |

She did a good job donating clothes as well. 3 contractor bags between her and I (most were hers) |

I think we're all heading in the same direction, but the issue would always circle over how you define who the "best" player is.
What is being measured in defining "Best"? - SomeoneGerman
That's exactly the same way I feel. To me, Kane has the most talent on that team, hands down. But Toews plays a more well rounded all around game. So who's "best" in that scenario? And the list goes on when you start to factor in Keith and so on...

Completely agree, RoR is the next Captain and deserves to be. Media says he's the first on and last to leave the ice. Even Eichel talked about it in a recent interview with Hamster. He holds himself accountable for not pulling out a win in interviews after games. He's the leader and should be the captain when Gionta gives it to him this season. - Hatboro_Swords

The clothes thing can be tough. Women's clothes aren't quite as versatile as men's. For a guy, there's really only a handful of basics. For a woman, it's the complete opposite.
And it never fails, as soon as I get rid of something I haven't worn in forever, something pops up that it would have been perfect for.
So my closet/dresser have always been where my pack rat issues come in. |

I really try and separate out how I feel about a guy personally and how they play for the team. Kane can / should be a major catalyst for the Sabres, but personally, he's dead to me. My best-case scenario is he has a productive year and gets shipped out for close to cost at the deadline before his deal is up. - nfph
It's 7 years into his career. He isn't going to have a life changing moment and decide to change his game and become a consistent goal scorer, and choir boy off the ice.
Hope for a 20+ goal year, and move him to another GM like Murray who might love his attributes (Vancouver)

Not sure, what's your take on Tyler Ennis? - sbroads24
It varies, you know I'm not a fan and wanted him moved last year before he even got hurt.
Too much east west in his game. People were comparing him to Briere at one point...
The difference is I don't go out of my way to bash him...
That being said it looks like he is in the top 6 this year...lets see what he can do |

If Gionta is half the leader he should be, he WILL give the C to ROR.
The most important skill any leader has to possess is the ability to recognize when s/he is not the right person for the job. |

He did kind of mention it in his Blue and Gold episodes that he sees ROR as the next leader. Maybe he does the ultimate captain thing and gives up his C this year. |

I noticed that in Gionta's B&G also. It wouldn't surprise me at all. |

I think Eichel scores 40 goals and takes the C after this year.
It amuses me how he is getting dissed around the league by many.
McDavid is ranked #9 in the Hockey News top 50, and Eichel isn't listed.
Considering Eichel scored similar to Stamkos and JT his rookie year, how he isn't a top 50 player is unreal |

I genuinely feel bad for Evander Kane. He needs to work with a therapist that can help him manage his emotions better. He clearly has unresolved issues that interfere with his ability to reach his full potential. |
