I'm going to the Prospects Challenge on the 19th. I believe it's Sabres/Bruins.
Can't wait!! I hate the fact that summer is coming to an end (mostly because I hate winter) but fall is definitely my second favorite season. Football, hockey, and all that! - HonkFortheGoose
I'm glad when summer ends for 2 reasons - the ungodly heat goes away and we can get outside again...and because the kids go back to school and it's a lot cheaper to pay for after-school care than it is all-day care. |

I really don't understand airlines sometimes. I'm flying to Austin, TX to visit my dad for Thanksgiving. I have to fly from Buf to JFK and then JFK to Austin. Seems pretty backwards....
- HonkFortheGoose
First time I flew to Vegas it went from Buffalo to Rochester and then on to Vegas. |

You'd think that a place like Nashville would have international flights at this point. I would think that Nashville is a bigger city than Buffalo, and we have international flights. Not a ton of them, but they we do have them. - HonkFortheGoose
A few minutes in the air and Buffalo has international flights to the great white north.
Myrtle Beach's airport is "International" too, but I think it only goes to Canada and the Bahamas, so it's quite limited with that title. |

You would think the airline would have been smarter and not offer that, just offer the flight out of one or the other...it was strange...
This was 1998, if that matters |

the only reason MB has flights to canada is so that the winter residence can go back home for the summer |

Buffalo's is pretty limited as well. The only thing I know of specifically is to Cancun and the Dominican. And those are charters that only go out of Buffalo once a week and are run by airlines that are actually out of Canada. The Dominican one is on Saturday and the Cancun one is on Sunday. I believe there are a few other places you may be able to fly to on other airlines, but on a regular basis, I don't know of any. |

Oh yeah, no doubt there.
They do also have a Canada Days tourism promotion, I don't remember exactly when that runs though. There are always a lot of Ontario plates around though...and I always try to see the dealer sticker/license plate holder of NY cars to give a mental thumbs up if they're from WNY.
(Just looked it up after typing, looks like it's in March)

The "big" airline that was going to the Bahamas a lot here when we first moved down was Hooters Air. |

That's hilarious.
The one that goes to Mexico is called Sunwing. I think it's the same one that goes to the Dominican, but not 100% sure. I've only gone to Mexico. The DR will be this year's trip. |

Hooters eventually got bought by Myrtle Beach Direct Air, which had it's fantastic sudden disappearance years later out of nowhere. Though at least those cheap flights to the NF airport are still around thanks to Allegiant....of course, I seem to drive home every time I go up nowadays. |

12 team PPR 2 RB 2 WR 1 flex
QB: brady, cousins
WR: Robinson, Cooper, Hilton, Lockett
Rb: d. Johnson, Ingram, Abdullah, Powell, white
TE: Olson
K: who cares
D: philly
Aquired Ingram, Hilton and brady for luck, Floyd, gore and Christine Michael from a panicked owner who's backup to brady was romo and had Rawls as their number 2 RB. Looking like the dominant team pre games starting. |

Planning on staying at the same resort chain that I was at in Mexico last year. Really enjoyed the resort, so I figured I'd stick with something somewhat familiar. I can't wait. Just have to nail down a specific date and get it booked. But Punta Cana is definitely this year's destination.
Most likely doing a 2 week trip to Europe in the fall next year as well. |

That stuff aside....
The guy is just a dinosaur in everything he does. Sure, he did win a cup - nobody can take that away from him. Just the way he conducts his business (not to mention his avoidance of analytics) seem so antiquated. You gotta think that he is on the last stop in his coaching career. |

I usually take a kicker with a late bye week but love streaming defenses. Rams D was drafted pretty high for ds so philly against Cleveland was best available this week. Looked better before wentz was starting though possibly giving Cleveland good field position on drives. |

I rented this house - we went with another family and their kids and it really wasn't any more expensive than getting enough rooms for both families. The hosts are phenomenal and the staff makes it a total luxury!!!
