But he got beat off the rush by one of the NHL's best skaters in a September preseason game. I put that in the Hot Take Generator Machine and it says it means Streit he will have zero value to any NHL team in 16-17, including the Flyers. - Feanor
Medvedev should be scratched in his next KHL game because of that

I said it yesterday, I think Team NA is going to medal.
It was annoying listening to the commentators talk about their "experience" as if they never played hockey before or have never been in big time high pressure international tournaments before.
Almost every guy on that roster is an elite talent. And boy are they fast.

They're young, scrappy, and hungry and they're not throwing away their shot.
False. Cones don't move. Why did Streit move left as NM moved to Streit's right? I'll guess he was anticipating the kid would cut in but, yikes, bad guess. - Scoob
You'd like to think so. But Streit brings even more to the table than leadership. Here's an example of his crafty veteran skills

I really hope they do. I can't wait to see them in a more serious game.

This is just great hockey. First exhibition game for these 2 teams in September feels like playoff hockey. Anyone who isn't watching or thinks they're going anything less than full bore is missing out.

Giroux always looks bad in these tournaments - Just5
He's playing well in limited 4th line minutes. Him and Jumbo Joe look good together. Don't know what you're watching, but they're always in the o-zone driving play. They should honestly flip their minutes with the Getzlaf line's minutes.

I've missed you hockey. - Mononoke
Couture concussed Weber nearly paralyzed. G got his hand slashed haven't seen much of him since. Hope its worth it a September to remember

G hasn't missed a shift. They're just not playing that line for some reason. 7 minutes through 2. Meanwhile Getzlaf looks like poop and has like 12 minutes. Pietrangelo has been a disaster this game all over, and he is leading the team in TOI. Playing favorites per usual.

Also, Abdelkader is a wussy who serves no purpose. Literally every time I even notice he's on the ice, it's just after a scrum. Torts got his grit. Couture got thrown head first into the boards. Kesler boards the poop out of Weber.
