I still don't know how I feel about this trade at all. I'm going to reserve making my judgement on him as a player until at least 10ish games into the season.
I really don't think he's a top pair guy, but I'm all for him proving me wrong. - HonkFortheGoose

I don't think he's a top pairing guy either but the entire trade is a win IMO.

it helped even out the handedness on our D and got us a better draft pick.. even if he is similar in quality to pysyk i would call it a good trade - IndianaSabresFan
I think he is an upgrade over Pysyk, not a huge upgrade but an upgrade nonetheless
Not an advanced stats guy, what's CF and CA and do you want CFs and not want CAs? If so, it looks like Europe was the better team which makes as much sense as I take from these charts.

CF and CA are your most basic possession stats. C standing for corsi so these two would be corsi for and corsi against. Corsi refers to the number of shots on net and shot attempts towards the net (including shots that are blocked) that the player is on the ice for. Corsi Against would be the amount of shot attempts against you were on the ice for.
The idea here is that if you have a higher CF than your CA it means your team usually controls the puck more often than not when you're on the ice. It's also the most outdated and often misread stat of them all but thats my opinion. Hope that helped.
