It's certainly shaping up that way. I'm pumped. And it's not like it's because the games are all in NA. These guys, Risto today, and the Russians and Czechs are playing in Europe still. The Olympics are never like this.

Edit: Somewhat concerning. Risto was way out of position, again, on Hornqvist's second goal.

Double Edit: I would like to see the cheap shot too, but have yet to been able to find it.

Either way I am so glad that all of the players are into this...and that we are going to have a competitive tournament...I was even happy to see Chara pissed the (frank) off when team Europe got embarrassed....the players want this

I wonder if Buffalo put in a bid for a pre-tourney game. They played in Columbus the other night, there's a game in Pittsburgh in a few days. Ottawa, Quebec City...

Who knows? The ESPN3 stream is just the SN stream and commentary. They're just simulcasting it not even bothering to have someone call the game.

Indeed they have. They got the US off their game early and the US has been playing catchup which is impossible to do against Canada.

NHL Network is only showing replays of games (i.e. not live). Only ESPN has the live TV rights to the tournament in the US.

Even the games where ESPN did have broadcasters, they are using the Sportsnet video feed, similar to what NHL Network does with the TSN feed during the World Juniors.

I don't know that they're necessarily showing their hand. They took a few runs at Kesler early, and guys started running around a bit, and that never ends well.
