I've never seen any evidence that James hates Chicago. He objectively states things that are fairly obvious to anyone thats not a Chi town homer. Things like Toews isnt the top center in the league... and Schneider is the best player on team USA. Facts. but he gets railed by the amazingly insecure fan base, one that should be among the nhl's most secure, time and again. its crazy!

A) Agreed on Kesler being dirty, but not overrated.

B) Agreed that Arcobello should be able to keep an NHL job. I actually think he's far better than he's treated. There's no reason why he shouldn't be a lock on anyone's team for 4th line center.

On one hand, yes, the West in general has thinned out and I don't see any one team be truly dominant. Maybe the Predators.

The Hawks clearly thinned out, but so did the Stars and Blues. MIN didn't take any real steps in making themselves a better team. I do expect COL and WIN to be better teams, but teams that fight for that fourth spot with the Blues.

It's amazing the stigma that men get when accused with sexual assault even when the accusations are never proven. It's pretty easy for a woman to make up lies and damage a man's reputation. As a man who was once falsely accused of rape it saddens me to see this kind of attitude in cases where the guilt is never proven.

Stating that Schneider is a better player than Kane and Pavelski is objective and fairly obvious? I mean, just by the extremely difficult nature of comparing goalies to players, I think this is inherently a subjective statement.

The funny thing is when these types support protests that everyone should be presumed innocent until proven guilty and treated equally under the law. Then they turn around and hypocritically judge someone as if they are guilty when they were not even charged with anything let alone convicted of anything.

I'm a smoke maybe fire kinda guy. I've done some stupid POOP in my life but never came close to putting myself in the position to be accused of something like that. Now I also am not a public figure. But being a public figure comes with responsibilities. Job description... plays the game you love, get paid millions, have everybody love you... but PS. Dont put yourself in positions to get taken advantage of, a right most young men your age can exercise due to the fact they arn't millionaires being paid to play a game. There are hundreds of nhl players out there and dozens upon dozens as big in their towns as Kane is in his and they dont have this happen. You sign up for the job you get the whole package... not just the ones you ffind positive and convenient to you.

I don't know if you are trying to be facetious but regardless you don't owe anyone anything. It's just if you want to take a smoke maybe fire approach to forming beliefs it is important to dig deeper than the morally reprehensible media that would like to see someone's life torn to pieces before any actual facts are known, just so they can generate views while fooling people into believing they possess a moral high ground.

I actually tend to agree with your point that professional athletes should be smart enough not to put themselves in these kind of situations. But I also am not going to hold it against someone (especially a young person) forever for being a human being and lacking the necessary cynicism to not be able to trust strangers who may (or may not) want to turn your status into their opportunity.

This would be why. Yes Schnieder is a better goalie, but quick having won a few championships could be a very strong reason why some might think he is better. If you don't agree with that than uu deserve to be a fan of Tanner.

Gardiner being under rated. Yes. Under rated as a bad player. He is actually far worse than people think. He gives up the puck so much he might as well be an extra skater for the other team.

He is a top pairing Dmam on the Leafs. A team which finished dead last. I wonder how many good teams would have him as a top pairing guy.

Heck he has tons of speed, plays alot of minutes and the power play and almost doubled Polaks points total. That is impressive. I hope other GM's feel like you do as maybe we can trade him for to Anaheim for Lindhold or darn we should have sent him to Edmonton for Taylor Hall, Seth Jones at least.
