I will say this again, If any one of you thought when we traded for him, he would get 35 points, playing some of the most minutes in the league, and shuffled on and off of Eichel's line, with 2 injuries, a team imposed suspension, and 2 incidents involving the BPD, you would have said it's not worth it.....or you are a liar.

I only care about the Sabres and if Kane gets his sh!t together, matures and becomes a good teammate this team will be better with him. It's a big 'If' but I prefer to think good things will happen for him and he'll learn from it. If not, he'll be out of the league. I'm hopeful.

The only stat I will ever care about is wins and losses.

I think he's a perfect top 9 LW on a good team that can be a game breaker every once and a while. I just wouldn't pencil him in for 30 goals and 55-60 points, which was pretty much expected of him when he got out of the Peg.

I have to say I am kind of bummed Buffalo didn't get a World Cup pre tournament game of some kind. I would have to think we would have drawn better attendance than Washington or Columbus. It will be interesting to see how Pittsburgh draws with Russia-Canada.
