They digitally flash over all the ads. I only noticed the Air Canada one and then when the game was over the whole boards turned into "North America Wins".

No one should be butthurt having Eichel OR Matthew in his team....

It's almost impossible to accurately guess which one will be the best player down the line... but they're both incredibly gifted young players.

I do now sense that some scouts believe Matthews may have higher upside than Eichel, but they're both No. 1 centres, so who knows. I don't.

I say taking Matthews before Eichel is as easy as taking Eichel before Dylan Strome.

2015 would've gone:

McDavid
Matthews
Eichel
Strome

equally apart in talent IMO...scary thought to think we'd be sitting with Strome and Laine instead of Matthews and Marner.

Probably a bit of biased but from what I've seen so far, I feel much more comfortable with the idea of Matthews as our future #1C over Eichel. Get the feeling Matthews can handle the bullpoop of MSM in Toronto better.

Either way both great players, both teams should be happy...except Arizona because I never like Strome.

Not sure why this even gets talked about, who cares. Where they would have hypothetically got drafted in a different year doesn't matter and won't change what they will become as NHL players. It's really close and pretty hard to say who will be a better player at this point

Not going to dig. Did Bibeau get the penalty for smacking down that Bitten guy? Or was it goaltender interference?

Laine looks very one dimensional to me. He will have to get over that to be a quality player in the NHL. Never even noticed him until the PP.
