Does Mc(frank)face have any other move other than that backhand forehand bullpoop? That's all I ever see. |

Still doesn't ring a bell - SABRES 89
7G and 11A doesn't ring a bell?! Ok, so how about, "spent an inordinate amount of time getting knocked off his pins"?
That said, I'm totally fine with his 1 year, barely-one-million-dollar a year deal. In fact, I really like it. |

But now it's Kane, Eichel, Matthews - sbroads24
It's also McDavid-Ekblad-MacKinnon
The gap hasn't really changed. |

I still wonder if he fires bylsma to save his own job. Especially if they struggle early on. - Sabresfan-365
That's interesting. I'd lean toward no, but you never know what someone will do when their back's against the wall. See: Ryan, Rex. |

But is that the start of a trend or just a one off? - Sabresfan-365
It has been a trend. Not just US talent either.
Canada doesn't compare to Sweden on the blue line. US has the better depth at goalie.

It doesn't? I mean swedens is probably better but Canadas will be very good. Price is still the best goalie in the league though. |

So adding Eichel, Matthews, Hanifin, SG hasn't closed the gap at all? Alright then |

They have 3 of the best 5 in the league. They don't compare with anyone |

It makes team usa better, but team canada gets better too, that would be the scary part. |

Not nearly enough...he typed as Eichel bit the dust on a 2-on-1. |

I just took in who's on that blueline. I retract my statement. Jesus christ thats nuts.
Edit:
Lindholm, Karlsson, Hedman, Ekman Larsson. Are you poopting me? |

This game is more interesting now. Let's see how the kids respond to a little adversity and playing from behind. |

I never said US was better, I said it isn't as lopsided. And it really isn't as lopsided when Matthews and Eichel are in there primes.
Let's not pretend Canada runs everyone out of the building |

I'd love to somehow pry Hjalmarsson out of Chicago. I love the game he plays. I can't begin to fathom what the asking price would be for him though. - HonkFortheGoose
His value to Chicago far outweighs his actual worth to other teams. Basically, too much. But he would be a nice, steadying presence on the blueline. |

I love the Ovi one so much, I wouldn't mind seeing one for Jack. Whoever came up with Alex's is a genius. |

I agree, the US gets way better while Canada pretty much stays the same overall talent wise. They'll always have the best players, but adding Eichel, Gaudreau, Gostisbehere, Larkin and Matthews and even Parayko probably. |

Agreed. There's no better example that guy could've used. |

Seriously. Arms at his sides. Drifting lazily sorta, vaguely towards a golden opportunity for the opposition. Zero reaction to the goal being scored. Everything about his "effort" screamed "controller unplugged". |

I am afraid that he is a floater. Does not seem interested at all this whole tournament.
Maybe he thinks his skill can over compensate for his effort.
IMHO.... |
