According to @galkevich32 Valeri Nichushkin is set to sign 2-year deal with #CSKA of the #KHL. CSKA has just acquired rights for him #Stars

Apparently wants to play for the Stars but not for Lindy Ruff

Edit: @IgorEronko Per source Nichushkin doesn't want to play for Lindy Ruff. Although he wants to return to #Stars someday. Ruff's contract is for 2 more years

I think it would be a surprise if they did not at least contend for a playoff spot. It is not inconceivable that they win that division.

The Hall trade is going to turn out to be a significant positive turning point for you guys.

Pretty much how I see things playing out. I think AZ finishes above VAN though.

I'm really curious why everyone assumes McDavid is all of a sudden going to play a full season (plus world cup) for the first time ever. He's missed large amounts of games due to injury 2 years in a row.

He's a great player and will have a target on his back. I honestly believe he's going to play 60-65 games this year and have 75-80 pts which will be a great season.

They only finished three points apart last year and Vancouver tanked the last 20 games of the year by sitting players out with supposed injuries. I still see Pheonix being worse than Vancouver as the Canucks will be a bit better this year if they can stay healthy .
