I dunno. I think they want to move him, but they just cant because there's literally nobody else for that role. As soon as you add someone there like Nylander you no longer have to put up with him. They'll probably add to the forward group either way next off season.

They want to do trade him most likely, but the value isn't there. Therefore, if you're keeping him (hoping against hope there isn't another blunder), it would take another player to displace him. Right now Kane is protected by lack of competition, next year (if Nylander is ready by then) it will most likely be an argument of Kane vs Ennis and not Kane vs Nylander. I understand Kane is a UFA and most likely gone, but for arguments sake if Ennis has another down/injury prone year and Kane has no more legal trouble I could see him resigning with the team that took the chance on him.

I'll take Jamie Benn those please.

They could have both Kane and Nylander. Nylander is fine but imo he's got work just to make it into the NHL, let alone take over 1st line responsibilities. Having Kane still in that spot and Nylander behind him, at least for one year, seems to be the best bet to me

Blizzards start forming in Hell, snow was gusting down from the roof of the immense cave and ice began to encapsulate most of Hell's inhabitants. He walked over the now icy lake of fire to see this man frozen up to his neck in ice, the man muttered six words...
